This week blog assignment is to review the GAME plan that I have created. I will strengthen my understanding and develop a supportive learning community by synthesizing my learning and recording thoughts and ideas in my blog. The blog assignment will include what resources I will need to plan, additional information that I may need and what steps Ive been able to take so far.
What resources will I need to carry out my GAME plan?
The main resource that I will need to carry out my GAME plan are several computers with internet access. There are several digital tools that my students can use that will allow them to become proficient when completing assignments. Programs and tools like wikis, blogs, voice threads and power point presentation are just a few digital tools that will be used to carry out my GAME plan. "Using multiple media and formats to access information, practice skills, and demonstrate mastery," Cennamo, Ross, Ertmer (2009).
What additional information do I need?
Some additional information that I need is to see which students are proficient with certain digital tools. The students who are proficient with using certain digital tools will work on assignments that include other digital tools that they are not proficient with. This will allow students to become proficient users of multimedia tools.
What steps have I been able to take so far?
One step that I have taken so far was becoming familiar with vast array of digital tools. I need to become more proficient with these digital tools so that I will be able to assist my students when operating the digital tools to complete assignments.
If there is anyone who can assist me or share ideas on how to help my students to become more proficient with using digital tools, please do not hesitate to me any advice that you may have.
Thanks,
Olufemi
